Sooo… you wanna know more about Shawn Gilbert and what’ going on with Kern Valley Wired.

Most common question people have is what is Kern Valley Wired?

Kern Valley Wired is many things, first of all it is the parent project for which I run all of my websites and business services under. I also offer consultation and training as well as promotional and print products such as business cards and stationary.

Many to this date are still not savvy to how the internet can improve life and business for the Kern River Valley, or they have a clue but are going about it the wrong way.

My personal mission is: “To enrich the local economy and personal lives through technology!”

How do I do such a thing one might ask, through education, example and by the creation of my tourism and business websites.

I have come under much scrutiny and criticism since I started almost a year ago. It seems that some in the community are threatened by “honest” and earnest competition in the marketplace. Add this with  being improperly  educated in web strategy and business practice and a little rumor can paint me to be a monster.
